What our students say

“I originally joined Hillier Hopkins as a work placement to get a feel as to whether the accounting and audit sector was where I wanted to work. During the year I gathered a wealth of experience and knew I was happy doing what I was doing, but more than anything, my confidence in my work and myself grew greatly. I chose to return as an ACA student after graduating because I knew that the professional and personal development I could gain from the company, due to their principles and supportive environment, is very rare to find. You are treated not as a number but as an individual, and that for me is of the utmost importance.” Clara De Santis, ACA Associate

“I joined Hillier Hopkins with absolutely no accounting knowledge – I probably would have struggled to tell you the difference between an invoice and a birthday card. However, since then I have worked on a wide variety of clients across many different sectors, and have been involved in all stages of the audit process. Everyone I have worked with here has been open and friendly and eager to share their knowledge. There is a huge amount to learn, and almost every week you will be doing something different – so the job is never boring. On top of that the company has a really collaborative culture, we work together to get things done and therefore every member of the team feels valued. Combined with a progressive work-life balance, I have found that Hillier Hopkins is a fantastic place to gain your ACA.”  Benedict Doherty, ACA Associate
