Kirsty provides comprehensive accountancy services and strategic advice to owner-managed businesses and individuals/partnerships, helping clients navigate everything from routine bookkeeping and VAT returns to more complex accounting treatments. She works closely with clients to ensure that all aspects of their accounts, corporate tax, and personal tax fit together seamlessly, keeping the whole process running smoothly.
Since joining Hillier Hopkins in 2012 after graduating from the University of Bath with a degree in Mathematics, Kirsty has supported a wide range of clients, from small sole traders to larger audit-level businesses, across multiple sectors. She has extensive experience in preparing management accounts, implementing cloud-based accounting solutions such as Xero and QuickBooks, and guiding clients through regulatory changes, including the changes to FRS 102 & 105 disclosures and MTD for personal tax.
Kirsty became a Principal at Hillier Hopkins in April 2025 and is passionate about helping clients plan ahead, avoiding surprises at year-end, and providing timely insights through real-time financial information. She also shares her expertise through charity talks such as Know Your Numbers, supporting smaller charities in understanding their finances.
