On 11 April Minney & Co Chartered Accountants in Dunstable became part of the Hillier Hopkins group. Minney & Co has been a key player in the Bedfordshire business community and provides audit, accounts, tax and payroll services to individuals and small to medium sized businesses across the region.
Founded by Les Minney, the firm has built a loyal client base through their service philosophy which closely matches our own “friendly expertise” ethos. The merger means that Minney & Co can continue to provide the same level of care and attention to their clients whilst offering a wider range of services available through the Hillier Hopkins group.
Hillier Hopkins began life in 1933 in Bedfordshire, so it is fitting that in our 90th year we have come full circle and joined forces with Bedfordshire firm Minney & Co. Hillier Hopkins’s roots go back to when founder John Hillier opened his practice, Lewis Hillier & Co in Luton in 1933. Shortly after that the firm’s name changed to Hillier Hopkins & Co and began expanding across the region to become one of the UKs top 50 firms today.
