On Saturday 8 June, some members of our team set out to walk 26 miles of the Ridgeway national trail from Aston Rownan to Ivinghoe Beacon, in memory of Neil Cundale and to raise money for the Hospice of St Francis.
27 miles were walked in the end as HS2 blocked the route and forced them to do a 1 mile detour!
The team finished at the Beacon with a well-earned glass of fizz and a toast to Neil.
