Grant became a Principal at Hillier Hopkins in 1998 and served on the firm’s Management Board for ten years and as Managing Principal for eight years until March 2019.
Grant is an audit principal with over 30 years of experience and acts for a broad range of family and owner managed businesses in a variety of sectors providing accountancy, business and strategic advice, applying the knowledge and skills gained managing the firm to service client’s day to day and longer term needs alongside his accountancy and taxation expertise.
Alongside the trusted adviser role Grant specialises in business valuation and forensic accountancy work. He has acted as single joint expert on numerous matrimonial and dispute related cases having attended court, arbitration and mediation hearings. He also provides valuation services in connection with company acquisitions and disposals and for tax purposes in relation to share schemes, employee ownership trusts and corporate restructuring.
