The Dutch Customs authorities have announced from 1st October 2020 anyone needing to export from The Netherlands will need to comply with the new ‘exporter’ concept. The exporter on the export declaration must be a company established within the EU, this will apply to all exports out of The Netherlands. This concept will have a major impact on business, especially those companies who use routes through The Netherlands to bring goods outside of the EU.
