On Wednesday 12th April 2017 Hillier Hopkins held a charity golf day at Porters Park Golf Club in Radlett, in support of our chosen charity, Waverley Driving Group, a local group of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA). This is the first of two fundraising events; the other is a sell out charity lunch in May at which Judge Rinder will appear.
Waverley Driving Group is a local charity that gives disabled people the opportunity to carriage drive to benefit their health & wellbeing.
Richard Malone, Principal at Hillier Hopkins and organiser of the event said, “The golf day was a great success and it’s thanks to the generosity of our clients and friends that took part that we were able to raise £2,630 for the charity”.
The 18 teams competing in the golf event enjoyed sunshine all afternoon with prizes given for 1st and 2nd place teams, nearest the pin and longest drive. There was also a raffle with prizes including a football signed by Thierry Henry donated by Sky Sports, an Amazon Echo donated by SA Law and wine donated by friends of Waverley Driving Group.
