Our VAT and Indirect Tax expert Ruth Corkin has been appointed as a member of the Government technical advisory group who will explore alternative arrangements to help replace the Northern Ireland backstop by the end of 2020.
Upon her appointment Ruth said: “I am delighted to be part of the Committee advising on the alternative arrangements and look forward to championing the VAT and Customs duties issues affecting businesses in both the UK and Northern Ireland.”
