We are taking part in the Franklins £50 Challenge to try and raise as much money as possible for the fantastic charity Willen Hospice. We’ll be running a number of different activities across our 3 offices over the next few months to fundraise and try and help to make a difference to their patients.
How it works:
All participants to the challenge are given £50 in which they attempt to grow the £50 in any way possible through activities such as raffles, competitions, quizzes etc. Our first attempt to raise money was last month where we put together valentines day treat bags where members of staff could purchase this for a fee and send them to anyone throughout the company as a sign of appreciation or as a secret admirer.
Our total amount for the valentines treat bags was £368, which we were so pleased with and also managed to raise £150 for fundraising for the raffle.
Michelle Woodridge quoted:
“We decided to raise funds for Willen Hospice as they are an invaluable service to our local community. They provide end of life care to patients and their families at often their most difficult times.“

About Willens Hospice:
Willen Hospice’s care touches thousands of local people every year. They give comfort, ease pain and reduce anxiety for patients and their loved ones. Every pound given makes a difference – as it enables them to do more for more people across Milton Keynes when and where they need them. The charity receives less than a quarter of our funding from the NHS, which means the rest is donated or fundraised for by amazing local people. Which is why your support is so important and so appreciated – from everyone they help, thank you.
