What our students say
“Taking a gap year from university to become a work placement student at Hillier Hopkins has provided me with invaluable experience that has allowed me to get a whole year’s head start in the Accounting world. It has been a tough year for everyone due to COVID-19 and working from home has been a new experience, but the teaching and training has been non-stop since starting my placement. I have always been warmly welcomed into any team that I’ve worked with and everyone has been very helpful in making sure I was exposed to all the key areas of accounting and audit. I would highly recommend Hillier Hopkins as a great company to start your professional career!” Anjali Dave, Work Placement Associate
“I completed a work placement between my 2nd and final year at University, given I was studying an accounting focussed degree it was essential for me to get some real-life experience of what the profession entailed before committing to this career path. It turned out to be very different from my studies, however everyone at Hillier Hopkins was welcoming and helped me to wrap my head around some of the initial struggles that I had. After graduating I have joined back on the ACA training programme and I am part way through completion (part-qualified), although it hasn’t been easy Hillier Hopkins have supported me through the training and my colleagues have been accommodating and supportive.” Andy Williams, ACA Associate
