If going to university does not fit in with your plans, yet you want to study for a professional qualification in accountancy, CFAB may be the route for you.
Take the first six modules of the ACA qualification over a two year period to give you key finance and business skills. You will also be gaining valuable practical experience with support and tuition along the way.
After completion of CFAB, there may be the opportunity to complete the rest of the ACA qualification.
This role will suit an academically strong school leaver or A’ Level student looking for a start to their career in Accountancy. The role will be based between our Accounts and Audit departments and working with other students and Managers. You will also work closely with clients on their premises with in a team.
What would your role involve?
- Ensure the planning, prioritising and allocation of all relevant client audit (and some accounts preparation) work ensuring effective team briefings and overall workflow.
- Develop a basic understanding of Caseware.
- Ensure satisfactory completion of all client work in line with agreed budget ensuring adherence to relevant standards and procedures such that the completed work can be easily reviewed and signed off by a partner.
- Any additional ad-hoc duties.
