Antony joined Hillier Hopkins in 2018 following a long career in investment management and specialising in tax. His expertise help individuals and families with complex arrangements both in the UK and overseas. Antony is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Antony assists high net worth clients at important stages in their life such as; investing in children and grandchildren’s future, passing a family business safely and tax efficiently to the next generation, providing for the family on the death of a family member; or supporting charitable causes in the most effective way. He also has significant practical experience advising internationally mobile, resident, non-domiciled clients with a number of complex matters including offshore structures.
Antony works with clients in the media and entertainment industry, providing financial management services and taxation advice to a wide range of individuals including artists, their loan out vehicles, management agencies, producers, publishers, glam teams and runners.
On the corporate side, Antony advises stakeholders and owner managed businesses as to the taxation impact of company restructures and disposals.
A growing and highly specialised area of work for Antony is helping those involved in the gaming and digital space. Advising on matters such as video game tax relief (VGTR) and research & development tax relief (R&D).
